Arsenal Platform Terms of Service

Welcome to Arsenal. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use this platform.

1. Platform Description

Arsenal is a private, invite-only social platform for firearms enthusiasts to track their builds, parts, and collections, connect with other enthusiasts, and facilitate community discussion. Arsenal is not a licensed firearms dealer, broker, or marketplace operator.

2. User Eligibility

By using Arsenal, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally permitted to possess firearms and firearm accessories under all applicable federal, state, and local laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your compliance with all applicable laws.

3. Disclaimer of Liability — Transactions & Sales

Arsenal may include features that allow users to list items for sale, express interest in items, or otherwise communicate about potential transactions. Arsenal does not facilitate, broker, mediate, or guarantee any transaction between users. Any sale, purchase, trade, or transfer of firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, or any other item conducted between users is done entirely at the users' own risk and responsibility.

Arsenal, its owners, operators, administrators, and affiliates expressly disclaim any and all liability arising from or related to:

• The legality of any transaction between users
• The condition, quality, safety, or legality of any item listed, sold, or traded
• The accuracy of any listing, description, or representation made by any user
• Any failure of a user to complete a transaction
• Any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from any transaction
• Any violation of federal, state, or local firearms laws by any user
• The transfer of any regulated item, including but not limited to firearms, NFA items, and ammunition

Users are solely responsible for ensuring all transactions comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to the Gun Control Act, the National Firearms Act, and all state and local regulations regarding the sale, transfer, and possession of firearms and accessories.

4. Compliance with Law

You agree that you will not use Arsenal to facilitate any transaction that violates any applicable law. This includes but is not limited to: selling firearms to prohibited persons, transferring firearms without required background checks or FFL involvement, selling NFA items without proper tax stamps and approvals, or any other activity prohibited by law. Arsenal reserves the right to remove any content or suspend any account at its sole discretion.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use Arsenal in a lawful, respectful manner. You will not use the platform to harass, threaten, or intimidate other users. You will not post content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. Administrators reserve the right to ban users and remove content without notice.

6. Intellectual Property & User Content

You retain ownership of content you post to Arsenal (photos, descriptions, etc.). By posting content, you grant Arsenal a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the platform. You represent that you have the right to post any content you upload.

7. Privacy & Data Handling

Arsenal collects and stores the following user data:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo as provided through Google OAuth authentication
• Profile data: Display name, bio, and any other information you voluntarily add to your profile
• User-generated content: Build information, parts inventory, photos, forum posts, comments, messages, listings, and other content you create on the platform
• Usage data: Activity logs such as range sessions, round counts, and maintenance records that you choose to log

How we use your data:

• To provide and operate the Arsenal platform and its features
• To display your profile and content to other authenticated users of the platform
• To send notifications related to platform activity (friend requests, messages, etc.)

Data protection:

• Arsenal is a private, invite-only platform — your data is not publicly accessible on the internet
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
• We do not use your data for advertising or profiling
• Your data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure
• Direct messages are visible only to the participants of the conversation

Data retention: Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting an administrator. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed, though some anonymized content (e.g., forum posts) may be retained.

8. No Warranty

Arsenal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information or content posted by users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arsenal and its owners, operators, and administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arsenal and its owners, operators, and administrators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

11. Modifications

Arsenal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Users will be notified of material changes and may be required to re-accept the Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
